Anyone using Amazon Web Services?
I would love to hear about how AWS is enabling your research, studies or anything that is of interest for you.

Re: Anyone using Amazon Web Services?
Can you give me some insight as to what your own experience is with AWS?
The best part I love about them is that they are customer-centric.

Re: Anyone using Amazon Web Services?
I have used both AWS and Microsoft Azure. I love the way AWS allows you to configure and set it up and run within a few hours. Microsoft Azure platform is limited and is a bit difficult to set it up. Both are relatively easy as long as you have a credit card to start.I used Linux on AWS and Windows Server on Azure. You can do Windows in AWS as well.

Re: Anyone using Amazon Web Services?
Used both AWS and Google Cloud Platform for hosting websites under a virtual instance.
Found both services pretty similar just the Google Cloud Platform's interface is a lot easier to use. But with AWS you can spin up instances in Sydney.
At the moment only using AWS - Route 53 as a DNS service which is dope. Everything else i enjoy Google Cloud Platform purly for user experience.
