I need to update the Bluetooth driver on my university issued PC

I'm getting a "Driver error" message on my Windows laptop as I'm trying to connect my airpods. I googled and it looks like I might need to update the Bluetooth driver however this is not possible as I'm not an admin on the university issued laptop. Help please.
