Scanning Double Sided in Library

Does anyone know how to scan double sided documents (automatically using the paper feeder) using the printing machines in the Lib?

Setting up double sided scanning is a little tricky to find on the settings menu.

Once you have scanned your card and selected "Use device features" then hit the scanner button.

  1. Place the original that you want to scan, into the top feeder, then select where you want the scan to go USB or Email.

  2. Press [Original Feed Type].

  3. Specify the original orientation.

Check the orientation of the placed document, and then press [Operation panel screen illustration] or [Operation panel screen illustration].

Make sure that the specified original orientation matches the orientation of originals loaded in the ADF.

  4. Press [2 Sided Original].

  5. Select [Top to Top] or [Top to Bottom].

  6. Select [1st Sheet] or [2nd Sheet].

To cancel two-sided transmission, press [1 Sided Original]. The display returns to that of step 4.

Select [2nd Sheet] if you want to send a cover sheet as the first page.

  7. Press [OK].

"2 Sided Original" appears above [Original Feed Type].

  8. Specify a destination, and then press the [Start] key and that's it!

Let me know how you go, and if you need any further assistance.
