laser cutting

I am a gold&silversmithing student and would like to use laser cut at uni.

But I cannot access to the General Safety Induction Test website.

Does it means I am not able to use laser cut at uni? Or I can go to building 100 to find some technitian for help.

 thank you

Re: laser cutting

Talk to your course coordinator and ask them to set up a workshop for the class? Otherr places in RMIT that might have laser cutting include Industrial Design (Building 49, Franklin St) and Advanced manufacturing Precinct (Building 55 - Cardigan St) .  Check out the sculpture studio on A'beckett st also.  The technician might point you in the right direction. Good luck!

Re: laser cutting

Hi Livia,

The Library has just opened the Makerspace facility on the City campus, so that's another place where you could use the laser cutter. Check the Makerspace website for details and conditions.

As for the link, it goes to a Google form and its access is restricted to users with RMIT login.  Try logging in to your RMIT Gmail account and then access the form using the same browser.
