Covid-19 Disaster Payment

Hi fellow RMIT students!

Today I tried to apply for the Covid-19 Disater payment for people who have lost work/income due to the current Covid circumstances in Victoria. However, as I am a student and receive Austudy, I am not deemed elegible for the payment. I fnd this extremely disappointing, as I have lost work due to the curret lockdown. Regardless of my $714 fortnightly payment, I have lost almost double this amount without work. 

Anyone else in the same boat? Even thought i am a student, I still have to work to support myself!
