Transfering to a Bachelor's Degree from Advanced Diploma After the First Year

Hi everyone,

I am a VCE graduate currently enrolled in an Advanced Diploma of Computer Systems Engineering and I was wondering, if I do well enough within the first year (out of my two year course), would I be able to transfer into the first year of the degree I'm planning to get into (Computer and Network Engineering).

I'd appreciate if someone could help me out.

Also feel free to ask me any questions for more information.

Thank You.

Hi Jammie, first things first - congratulations and welcome to RMIT! I hope you really enjoy your time here.

First questions first - did you finish the prerequisite subjects for the Bachelor degree, and if not, which?

To quote directly from the website:

Current Year 12 prerequisite units 3 and 4 - a study score of at least 20 in one of Mathematical Methods (any) or Specialist Mathematics; and a study score of at least 25 in any English (except EAL) or at least 30 in English (EAL).
