cannot log in

I am trying to logon to a standard desktop computer, and receive the following message:

"There are currently no logon servers available to service the logon request" with a big red circle/X next to the message.

Re-booting the machine does not fix the problem.

Thanks.

Re: cannot log in

Hi @ck

The "no logon servers available" message means the computer cannot connect to the network to verify your credentials.

The first step would be to confirm the LAN cable is physically plugged in to the computer and the cable's other end is properly connected to the network port in the wall, as a break in either of these physical connections will cause the error.

If you find this all seems to be in place, you can provide the following details (either here or PM me) and we can investigate further:
- the computer's asset number (red barcode label)
- the computer's location (building.level.room)
