printers' locations in city campus

Hi guys, I would like to know if there's a way to find out the locations of all the printers in campus and the services each one of them provided?
I am new here and am not familiar with the buildings at all. I've only been to the print room in building 8 for large scale printing and I am clueless about other places to print in normal size. The school website doesn't say anything about it so would any of your guys know??

There's no map that I'm aware of, but pretty much every printer on campus (and there are a LOT of them) will print in a3, a4, b&w, colour, plus scan and photocopy.

You'll find your favourite printers depending on where you like to study - basically put, anywhere there are computers, there are also printers. The Swanston St library is definitely a great place to start, they're also all over Building 80, etc etc.

Personally, I love RMIT printing's service system - you just need to send off your document to be printed, and then (using your student card to "scan in" to the printer) you can print from any printer on the RMIT network - so you're not really confined to any "favourite printer" or similar.

Hi @qiwens

To add to what @jbh provided you can find the list of Specialist Printers on campus, as well as their printing size capabilities and costs, at this link.

The standard Ricoh printers on campus will do A3, A4 in both black and white an colour. That info and costs can be found here.

But ultimately: no, there is no complete list of printer locations.

Hope this info helps out!

Regards,

Adam

It's one of those things that you'd love to put on an RMIT maps app if you could - that, water fountains, coffee, after-hours labs and toilets
