PebblePad Decommission
On Thursday 31 December 2015, the RMIT PebblePad Classic environment will no longer be offered by the vendor and will be decommissioned.
As an alternative, you are advised to export your PebblePad content and store your data in your Google Apps account. Google Apps provides a suite of communication and collaboration tools that can be used in your studies. You may store content in your Google Drive, or create a Google ePortfolio site or personal PebblePad account. For support user guides, see instructions below:

Part 1. PebblePad Export Content User Guide
- Login to PebblePad (https://www.pebblepad.com.au/rmit/)
- Click Launch PebblePad in a new window
- Click Radio button: I am an RMIT student or staff member
- Click Select button to open the CAS login window
- Type your RMIT ID, staff or student number
- Type your password
- Click LOGIN to launch PebblePad
- Click View your activity report
- Click Manage Assets
- Click Export Assets to open the Export window
- Expand Options
- Tick All box
- Click Export
Note: Click the Export As drop-down arrow to select export file type, default LEAP2A Zip - The following message appears
- Click OK
- Save file to local computer
- Upload to your personal Google Drive

Part 2. Create an ePortfolio Google Site User Guide
- Login to Google
- Click on the Google Apps icon
- Click Sites
- Click Create
- Click Browse the gallery for more
- Scroll down and select ePortfolio template
- Click Select
- Name your site (eg. LTR ePortfolio Test Site)
- Click Create
- ePortfolio Test Site is created
- Bookmark URL
- Click Modify the template to customise the ePortfolio site

Part 3. Create a Personal PebblePad Account User Guide
RMIT PebblePad account holders can create a personal PebblePad account. This account is free for the first year.
- Login to your RMIT PebblePad account
- Click Tools
- Click personal account
- Click continue
- Click continue
- Complete the following information
- Choose your subject expertise
- Click Continue
- Click Confirm to complete
- An email will be sent to you with confirming your information and a PebblePad Login URL
