If students are reporting that Turnitin does not allow to resubmit paper after the due date.
Symptom:
When the student tries to submit the assignment, the 'Submit' button is greyed out as below:

Solution/Workaround:
Advise student to contact the instructor to delete the previous submission or clear the attempt.
An instructor will need to clear the attempt:
1. Go to Course Tools > Turnitin Assignments > <AssignmentName>
2. Select the student and click on 'Delete' button
