RMIT University is working to create a more personalised experience for our students. This new option allows you to set up your name as an email alias for sending and receiving emails. Your email will continue to be accessed in the same inbox and you will still receive emails sent to your s-number address.

Please note you must continue to use your s-number to log into your email account and access other RMIT services.

This step-by-step guide will show you how to:

  • link your new name alias to current your s-number email account
  • send emails using your name alias

Remember this alias is optional and you will continue to receive emails regardless of your email address.
