Authenticating to network issues

Since yesterday my mac hasn't been able to connect to the wifi network. Usually it gets me to log in with my student account but now it's asking me to verify and authenticate the network rmit university. Every time I try to authenticate the certificate the program stops responding.

Can you please try removing the RMIT network the advanced settings in network preferences. Please try connecting to RMIT-University network again, you should be prompted to enter your credentials again and then connect.
