my internet says that it's limited.. it's connected to the RMIT-University network but no internet pages will load!!

This is an issue we've seen from time to time. Ususally this is caused by incorrect DNS settings (essentially the pathway the data takes to get from the network to your device's browser).
You can check out the steps for fixing that from our very own Knowledge Base articles:
For Mac:
https://community.its.rmit.edu.au/t5/IT-Knowledge-Base/No-Internet-Access-Using-Mac-OS/ba-p/125
For Windows:
https://community.its.rmit.edu.au/t5/IT-Knowledge-Base/No-Internet-Access-Using-Windows/ba-p/121
If all else fails, you can always stop in to a Service Point on campus (locations below) and one of the staff can take a look at your device:
