MyDesktop saying my username or password is incorrect when it isn't??
Hey,
MyDesktop is telling me that my username or password is incorrect for the first time ever even though I am using the same one for other RMIT services and logging in with no problems. Any work around to this? Anyone else experiencing the same issue?
Also, and this has been a problem for years, but for some reason when I type "@" in MyDesktop I get " " " and vice versa. Not a major issue, the first one ^^ is more pressing.
Cheers

Re: MyDesktop saying my username or password is incorrect when it isn't??
Hi,
RMIT's Portal accepts both email and username, so I assume that I don't need to say that you can only use the student / staff number username (e.g s0000000 or e0000) on myDesktop.
I don't know if this is something you've tried, but have you tried resetting your password via RMIT Password Assistance?
It should overwrite your current password instance with the new password to the MyDesktop service amongst others.

If you can't log into the Self-Service Password Reset try using Forgotten Password,

If none of the above steps solve your issue, i'd seek support from Information Technology Services.
This is all I can offer, I hope this helped in any way.
