myDesktop 404 error

Hi - I'm getting a 404 error when I try to log in to myDesktop today. I've logged in before with no issue. Any ideas?

Re: myDesktop 404 error

Hi,

the MyDesktop system was updated this morning and some users are experiencing the 404 error you're described.

In order to connect to MyDesktop, you will need to clear the cache on your Browser.

Here is a great resource that will tell you how to clear your cache on any browser:

Re: myDesktop 404 error

If you are in Internet Explorer, sometimes clearing our favorites website data can help resolve your 404 issue.

To do this open "Internet Options" in Internet Explorer.  Next select the "General" tab and click "Delete..." under "Browsing History".

You should see "" and "Cookies and website data" checkboxes.  Select both, and then click "Delete".

Close the Internet Explorer browser and start it again.  You should now be able to use myDesktop via https://mydesktop.rmit.edu.au as per normal.

Cheers
